Ghosted uses a minimal set of cookies and local storage. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. Essential cookies

Supabase authentication cookies keep you signed in and secure your session. These are strictly necessary — without them you cannot log in, report a ghosting, or use your dashboard.

3. Preferences (local storage)

ghosted-theme stores your dark/light choice so the site loads in your preferred theme.

ghosted-cookie-consent records your response to the cookie banner so we don’t ask again.

These are stored in your browser only and are never sent to our servers for tracking.

4. Managing cookies

You can choose "Essential only" in the cookie banner to decline non-essential storage. You can also clear cookies and local storage at any time via your browser settings, which will reset your preferences.
